ATKINSON, Phyllis Price - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Phyllis Merle Atkinson of Danville, Illinois, age 67, died Monday morning, November 23, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. She was born at Stone Bluff, August 13, 1914, the daughter of Ben C. and Eunice Snyder Price. October 25, 1936, she married Vern E. Atkinson, who died in 1977. Mrs. Atkinson was a member of the Second Church of Christ in Danville.

  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Moulton of Danville and Mrs. Marjorie Jones of Houston, Texas; and nieces and nephews. A son, David, preceded her in death.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday at Berhalter Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Jeff Weenink officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville. – thanks to S
